STANY's International Committee is responsible for all issues relating to the international membership of STANY. The Committee hosts an annual International Reception for STANY members whose principal business is the trading of foreign equities. This event draws guests from several continents and is one of STANY's most successful social functions, as it is one of the few opportunities of networking among such a diverse group of traders. This year's goals include outreach to foreign exchanges and foreign trading organizations. The Committee would like to host several small events such as a panel discussion of buy-side traders involved in foreign funds. The Committee also plans to develop training seminars, meetings, and roundtables on key issues pertaining to the international trading community.
