The Charity and Education Committee is instrumental in accomplishing STANY's philanthropic goals. Committee Members assist STANY's President in evaluating charities for the selection of the President's Choice Charity. Members of the Committee successful fund raising efforts have permitted STANY to donate almost $100,000 a year to charities. The committee has also been responsible for starting a scholarship fund for college students and for selection of qualified students to receive funds donated by STANY or the STANY Foundation.
